Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Diploma in Agricultural and Rural Engineering awarded by the Kerala Agricultural University. • In the absence of the above, National Trade Certificate in any of the following trades from the I.T.I.: (a) Mechanic (Tractor), (b) Mechanic (Motor vehicle), (c) Mechanic (Diesel), (d) Fitter. Technical Qualifications: • Valid Tractor Driving Licence (must be current and valid during the entire selection process). Experience Required: Practical experience of not less than one year in the trade, acquired after the acquisition of I.T.I. Trade certificate (applicable only if possessing I.T.I. qualification). Physical Standards: Must be physically fit. Vision standards: Distant vision 6/6 snellen for both eyes, Near vision 0.5 snellen for both eyes, and each eye must have full field of vision. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable.

Selection is on a Revenue District basis. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same post in any district are prohibited from applying. Proficiency will be assessed via a Practical Test. Medical certificate and vision certificate required as per prescribed formats.
