Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Tractor Driver Gr. II (Special Recruitment for ST only) in Agriculture Development and Farmers' Welfare. Category No: 369/2025. Vacancies: District wise (Kannur - 01). Scale of Pay: ₹ 25,100 – 57,900/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Tribes only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 15-10-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

19-41; Only Candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (fifty) years. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Diploma in Agricultural and Rural Engineering awarded by the Kerala Agricultural University. • National Trade Certificate in any of the following trades from the I.T.I: (a) Mechanic (Tractor) (b) Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) (c) Mechanic (Diesel) (d) Fitter (in the absence of persons with the diploma) Technical Qualifications: • Valid Tractor Driving License. Experience Required: Practical Experience of not less than one year in the trade acquired after the acquisition of I.T.I Trade Certificate. Physical Standards: Must be physically fit for the post. Vision standards: Distant vision 6/6 snellen (right eye) and 6/6 snellen (left eye), Near vision 0.5 snellen (right eye) and 0.5 snellen (left eye), Each eye must have full field of vision. Able to distinguish pigmentary colours (red and green), no night blindness, free from defects of vision. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.

Appointments are subject to special reservations to Scheduled Tribes in accordance with G.O.(P) No.21/76/PD dated 17.01.1976, G.O.(P) No.25/94/GAD dated 22.01.1994 and rules under sections 3(c), 17(a), 17(b) of Part II of KS&SSR 1958.
