How we create and check content
Last updated: 21 October 2026
Official Kerala PSC information
Notifications, exam time tables, rank lists, syllabi, question papers and answer keys come from the official Kerala Public Service Commission website, keralapsc.gov.in. Our software reads each new publication, extracts the details (category number, dates, vacancies, qualifications) and links to the original PDF on every page, so you can always check the source.
Dates and eligibility can change through corrigenda. The official notification is always the final word: please confirm the details there before you apply. PSC Buddy is an independent study platform and is not affiliated with the Kerala PSC.
Learn cards and practice questions
Study content is organised by the topics in the official syllabi. The same concept often appears in several exams under different names, so we group those into one topic and write the material once.
Learn cards and practice questions are drafted with the help of AI language models. Each draft is given the syllabus scope, relevant SCERT textbook passages where available, and real previous Kerala PSC questions on the topic, so the material follows what the Commission actually asks. Previous questions are shown with the official answer key.
How every item is checked
- Format rules: length limits, four distinct options, one correct answer, an explanation that says why the answer is right and why the tempting wrong option is wrong.
- Independent solve: a different AI model answers each question without seeing the answer key. If it disagrees, or finds two answers that fit, the question is removed.
- Fact check: every factual claim in a card and in each explanation is checked against textbook context or well-established facts. Anything contradicted or unconfirmed is removed.
- Duplicates: near-identical cards and questions are removed.
- Benchmark: every change to how content is produced is tested against a fixed set of real Kerala PSC questions with official answers before it is used.
Only content that passes all checks is published, first to signed-in students. Public topic pages appear later and only for content that students have used and that holds up: questions with unusual answer patterns or reports are hidden automatically and sent for review.
Editorial standards
- Accuracy first: no invented dates, numbers, names or quotes. When we are not sure, we leave it out.
- Sources are shown: official PDFs for KPSC data, textbook references and previous-question codes for study content.
- Plain language: short sentences, one idea per card, Malayalam terms where PSC questions use them.
- No guarantees: we never promise selection, ranks or “leaked” questions.
- Independence: advertising and paid plans never change what a page says. Ads are labelled and kept away from questions.
- Dates: pages show when they were last updated. Old notifications stay available for reference but are marked by their dates.
Corrections policy
Found a mistake? Use the ⚑ Report button on any question or card, or write to support@dcodeux.in with the page link.
- Reports from several students hide an item automatically until it is reviewed.
- A reviewer then fixes the item (it gets a new version), keeps it if it is correct, or removes it.
- Errors in official data (for example a wrong date on a notification page) are corrected against the official PDF, usually within two working days.
- We do not silently change answers: a corrected question is a new version, and earlier answers to the old version do not count against you.
