Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Tractor Driver in Agriculture Development and Farmer's Welfare Department. Category No: 459/2024. Vacancies: District wise (Malappuram – 01 (One) for Scheduled Caste). Scale of Pay: ₹ 18,000 – 41,500/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 01-01-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

19-41. Only candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of General Conditions). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Diploma in Agricultural and Rural Engineering awarded by the Kerala Agricultural University. Technical Qualifications: • In the absence of persons with the diploma, National Trade Certificate in any of the following trades from I.T.I.: (a) Mechanic (Tractor) (b) Mechanic (Motor vehicle) (c) Mechanic (Diesel) (d) Fitter. • The candidates should possess a valid Tractor Driving Licence on all stages of selection. Experience Required: Practical experience of not less than one year in the trade, acquired after the acquisition of I.T.I. Trade certificate. Physical Standards: Must be physically fit for the post as per the prescribed Medical Certificate and standards of vision (Distant vision 6/6 snellen, near vision 0.5 snellen, and full field of vision for each eye without glasses). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Equivalent qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government are accepted.
