Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Police Constable (Armed Police Battalion) in Police. Category No: 537/2022. Vacancies: Battalionwise (Anticipated Vacancies). Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in HSE (Plus Two) or its equivalent Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Height: Minimum 168 cm (160 cm for SC/ST). Chest: Minimum 81 cm with 5 cm expansion (76 cm with 5 cm expansion for SC/ST). Vision: Distant 6/6 Snellen, Near 0.5 Snellen for both eyes without glasses. Must be free from physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, Varicose vein, bow legs, deformed hands & limbs, irregular and protruding tooth, defective speech and hearing. Must qualify in any five events out of eight in the National Physical Efficiency, One Star Standard Test. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR is applicable. Higher qualifications of the notified and prescribed basic qualifications shall be accepted.
