Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Police Constable (Armed Police Battalion) in Police. Category No: 537/2022. Vacancies: Battalion-wise (Anticipated vacancies). Scale of Pay: ₹ 31,100-66,800/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Battalion-wise). Applications must be submitted online on or before 18-01-2023 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-26; Candidates must be born between 02.01.1996 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included). Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST (up to 31 years), OBC (up to 29 years), and Ex-servicemen (up to 41 years) as per rules. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Higher Secondary (Plus Two) or equivalent examination. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Height: Minimum 168 cm. Chest: Minimum 81 cm (with minimum 5 cm expansion). For SC/ST candidates: Height 160 cm, Chest 76 cm (with 5 cm expansion). Vision: Must have 6/6 Snellen for distant vision and 0.5 Snellen for near vision for both eyes without glasses. Must be free from physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular/protruding teeth, and defective speech/hearing. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. In the absence of sufficient qualified SC/ST candidates, those who have passed SSLC/Plus Two will be considered for the reserved quota.

Candidates must read the General Conditions in Part II of the Gazette notification. Candidates must qualify in at least 5 out of 8 items in the National Physical Efficiency Test (1-star standard).
