Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Police Constable (Armed Police Battalion) (Special Recruitment for SC/ST) in Kerala Police Service. Category No: 340/2020. Vacancies: Battalion wise (Thiruvananthapuram (SAP) - 19, Pathanamthitta (KAP III) - 18, Idukki (KAP V) - 17, Ernakulam (KAP I) - 19, Thrissur (KAP II) - 19, Malappuram (MSP) - 20, Kasaragod (KAP IV) - 20). Scale of Pay: ₹ 22,200-48,000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Battalion wise) (SR for SC/ST). Applications must be submitted online on or before 20-01-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-31, Candidates born between 2.1.1989 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) only are eligible to apply for the post. Upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 40 years for Ex-Servicemen. Other conditions regarding age relaxation in para(2) of the general conditions are not applicable to this selection. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in HSE (Plus Two) or its equivalent • Those who have failed in HSE (Plus 2) shall also be considered if sufficient number of qualified candidates are not available to fill up the quota. Physical Standards: Height: Minimum 160 cm. Chest: Minimum 76 cm with a minimum expansion of 5 cm. Eye Sight: Distant Vision - 6/6 Snellen (Right & Left Eye), Near Vision - 0.5 Snellen (Right & Left Eye). Full field of vision required. Must be free from colour blindness, squint, morbid conditions, and apparent physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, Varicose vein, bow legs, deformed hands & limbs, irregular and protruding tooth, defective speech and hearing. Must qualify in any five events out of eight events of the National Physical Efficiency, One Star Standard Test. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a) ii is applicable to this selection. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification shall produce relevant Government order.
