Vacancies: Battalion wise: Thiruvananthapuram (SAP) - 33, Pathanamthitta (KAP III) - 36, Idukki (KAP V) - 28, Ernakulam (KAP I) - 31, Thrissur (KAP II) - 34, Malappuram (MSP) - 35, Kasaragod (KAP IV) - 33. Scale of Pay: 22,200-48,000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Battalion wise) (Special Recruitment from ST Only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 23-12-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-31, Candidates born between 02-01-1989 and 01-01-2002 (both dates included) only are eligible to apply. Other conditions regarding age relaxation in para(2) of the general conditions are not applicable to this selection. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in HSE (Plus Two) or its equivalent • Those who have failed in HSE(Plus 2) shall also be considered if sufficient number of qualified candidates are not available to fill up the quota Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Height: Minimum 160cm. Chest: Minimum 76cm with minimum expansion of 5cm. Eye Sight: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen (without glasses). Must be free from physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, Varicose vein, bow legs, deformed hands & limbs, irregular and protruding tooth, defective speech and hearing. Must qualify in any five events out of eight events of the National Physical Efficiency, One Star Standard Test. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a) ii is applicable to this selection. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification shall produce the relevant Government order to prove the claim at the time of One Time verification.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates are prohibited from applying to more than one Battalion. Separate ranked lists for each Battalion will be published, valid for one year. Training period of nine months. Probation period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile.
