Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Civil Excise Officer (Women Candidates and Differently Abled Candidates are not eligible to apply for the post). in Excise. Category No: 120/2019 – 121/2019. Vacancies: District wise (Malappuram: 2, Ernakulam: 1). Scale of Pay: Rs 20,000 – 45,800/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from male candidates belonging to OBC and Hindu Nadar communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 29-08-2019 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

19-34. Candidates born between 2.1.1985 and 1.1.2000 (Both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post in the case of OBC and Hindu Nadar (Including the age relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions) Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed the Plus Two examination or its equivalent. Physical Standards: Must not be less than 165 cms in height and 81 cms round the chest with a minimum expansion of 5 cms. Physique and Eyesight: Must be certified by a Medical Officer as to his physique fitness and capacity for active outdoor work. Must be certified to possess visual standards specified without glasses (Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen, full field of vision, no colour blindness, squint, or morbid condition). Must be free from apparent physical defects like knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, deformed hands and limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Must qualify in Endurance Test (2.5 kilometers race within 13 minutes) and National Physical Efficiency Test (5 out of 8 events). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates who have applied with equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification, should produce the relevant Government order to prove their qualifications equivalency at the time of verification.
