Who can apply
Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Civil Excise Officer (Trainee) in Kerala Excise and Prohibition. Category No: 565/2025. Vacancies: Anticipated vacancies (District wise: Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasargod). Scale of Pay: ₹ 27,900 – 63,700/-. Method of Appointment: Recruitment By Transfer (District wise). Applications must be submitted online on or before 14-01-2026 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
• Must have passed the Plus Two Examination or its equivalent.
Experience Required:
Must be a member of the Last Grade Service in the Excise Department who is a probationer/approved probationer/full member.
Physical Standards:
For male members, minimum height 162 cms with minimum chest measurement of 81 cms and minimum expansion of 5 cms. For female members, minimum height 152 cms (150 cm for SC/ST female candidates). Physique and eyesight standards apply (Distant vision: 6/6 Snellen for Right and Left eye without spectacles, Near vision: 0.5 Snellen, full field of vision, no colour blindness or squint).
Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules:
Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
