Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Women Excise Guard (Women Civil Excise Officer) in Excise. Category No: 261/2014. Vacancies: District wise (Anticipated Vacancies). Scale of Pay: 10,480 – 18,300/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment from women candidates only.. Applications must be submitted online on or before 16-07-2014 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

19-36. Candidates born between 2.1.1978 and 1.1.1995 (both dates included) only eligible to apply. Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed the Plus Two Examination or its equivalent. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Minimum height 152 cms (150 cms for SC/ST). Must possess specified visual standards (Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen for both eyes; Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen for both eyes) without glasses. Must be free from physical defects like Knock-knee, Flat Foot, Varicose vein, Bow legs, Deformed limbs, irregular and protruding tooth, Defective speech and hearing. Must pass Physical Efficiency test (qualify in any five out of eight events). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: As per KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii)
General conditions from the notification
Selection on revenue district basis. Candidates advised for appointment in one district are not eligible for transfer to another district unless they complete 5 years continuous service. Physically handicapped persons are not eligible. NCC Cadets having A, B & C Certificates will be given weightage marks.
