Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Instrument Mechanic in Medical Education. Category No: 075/2022. Vacancies: Scheduled Caste - 01 (One). Scale of Pay: ₹ 27,900 - 63,700/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from among the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste Community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 18-05-2022 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • S.S.L.C or equivalent Technical Qualifications: • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering • Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Instrument Mechanic trade Experience Required: For Diploma holders: Minimum one year experience in manufacturing and servicing of Scientific equipments. For ITI holders: At least three years experience in the manufacture and servicing of preferably Optical Instruments, Electro Medical Equipments etc. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.

General conditions from the notification
The Ranked list prepared and published as per this notification shall remain in force for a period of three years or until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies that may arise due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post on 02.03.2009, whichever is earlier. In the absence of Scheduled Caste candidates, the application of Scheduled Tribe candidates will also be considered. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration Profile.
