Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Sergeant in Various. Category No: 462/2019. Vacancies: Districtwise (Wayanad - Scheduled Caste: 01). Scale of Pay: R 22200-48000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community of Kerala State Only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-02-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18 - 41, Only candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions). Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • SSLC or equivalent (only in the absence of candidates with military service qualifications) Technical Qualifications: • Six months Police or Military Training (only in the absence of candidates with military service qualifications) Experience Required: Must be a pensioned Junior Commissioned Officer of the Army or equivalent in the Navy or Air Force. In the absence of such candidates, candidates with literacy in English and ten years Military Service in the Army, Navy or Air Force. Physical Standards: Height: 167 cms (160 cms for SC/ST). Chest: 81 cms with 5 cms expansion (76 cms with 5 cms expansion for SC/ST). Vision: Distant 6/6 Snellen, Near 0.5 Snellen. Must be free from physical defects like knock knee, flat foot, varicose veins, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government Orders during OTR verification.

Selection on Revenue District basis. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying. Differently abled candidates are not eligible. Confirmation for exam is mandatory if written/OMR/online test is conducted.
