Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Music Teacher (UPS) in Education. Category No: 708/2022. Vacancies: District wise: Malappuram – 1 (One), Kottayam – 1 (One). Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Graduation in Music conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. Technical Qualifications: • A Pass in Ganapraveena or Ganabhooshana Examination in Vocal Music or Gana bhooshana Diploma in Violin/Veena conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Music Senior Certificate issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Ganapraveena/Ganabhooshanam (Mridangam) issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • KGTE (Higher) or MGTE (Higher) in Music. • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR will be applicable for this post. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post shall also be sufficient.
