Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Music from any of the Universities in Kerala or equivalent qualification recognized by them. • Must have passed SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed Gana Praveena/Gana Bhooshanam examination in Music conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala OR Diploma in Gana Bhooshanam in Violin/Veena. • Music Senior Certificate issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Gana Praveena/Gana Bhooshanam (Mridangam) issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • KGTE (Higher) or MGTE (Higher) in Music. • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates with M.Phil in the relevant subject from a recognized university in Kerala or equivalent are eligible. Exemption from K-TET is provided for candidates with NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed as per G.O.(P) No. 145/16/G.Edn and G.O.(P) No. 206/16/G.Edn.
