Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Laboratory Technician Gr-II in Health Services. Category No: 305, 306, 307, 308, 309, 310, 311 and 312/2017. Vacancies: District wise. Scale of Pay: 22,200- 48,000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to OX/Dheevara/Hindu Nadar/Viswakarma/Scheduled Tribe/Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava/Muslim/LC/AI communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 20-09-2017 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18 – 39 (Born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.1999) for most communities; 18 – 41 (Born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.1999) for SC, ST and O.X candidates converted to Christianity from SC communities. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Pre-Degree or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks or B grade in science subject (Relaxation of 10% marks for SC/ST and 5% for SEBC as per GO(P) 208/66/PD). • S.S.L.C or equivalent for Ex-servicemen who have passed Class I Blood Transfusion Assistant Test and have put in not less than 15 years service in the Armed Forces. Technical Qualifications: • A pass in one year Medical Laboratory Technician's Training Course conducted by the Medical Colleges in Kerala or by the Public Health Laboratory, Thiruvananthapuram or any qualification equivalent thereto. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: In the case of persons who have completed Degree course in Science, 'B' Grade in Pre-degree examination will not be insisted. KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable.

Selection on Revenue District basis. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected.
