Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Laboratory Technician Gr-II in Health Services. Category No: 787/2022. Vacancies: District wise: Idukki - 01 (One). Scale of Pay: ₹ 35,600 - 75400/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to OBC Community of Kerala State only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 01-02-2023 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible. Age relaxation as per General Conditions applies, provided the maximum age does not exceed 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Pre-Degree or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks or 'B' grade in Science subjects (5% relaxation for SEBC communities as per GO(P) 208/66/PD) • S.S.L.C or equivalent for Ex-servicemen who have passed Class I Blood Transfusion Assistant Test and have put in not less than 15 years service in the Armed Forces Technical Qualifications: • A pass in one year Medical Laboratory Technician Training Course conducted by the Medical Colleges in Kerala or by the Public Health Laboratory, Thiruvananthapuram or any qualification equivalent thereto. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. In the case of persons who have completed Degree course in Science, 'B' Grade in Pre-degree examination will not be insisted.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must follow Part II, General Conditions of the Kerala PSC. Selection is on a Revenue District basis. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same post in any one District are prohibited from applying again for this post. Confirmation for writing the examination is mandatory if a test is conducted.
