Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher - Mathematics in Kerala Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 484/2019. Vacancies: 05 (Five). Scale of Pay: ₹ 39500-83000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-02-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

20-40 Only candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual age relaxation to SC, ST and other Backward Communities. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by any University in Kerala. • B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any University in Kerala, or B.Ed Degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala (in the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject), or B.Ed. Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study (in the absence of persons with B.Ed as specified above). OR M Sc Ed. in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Regional Institute of Education sponsored by the National Council for Education, Research and Training (NCERT). • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teachers conducted by Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the State Government. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.
