Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher (Junior) Tamil in Kerala Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 490/2019. Vacancies: 01 (One). Scale of Pay: Rs.32300-68700. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-02-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

20-40. Only candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included) are eligible to apply with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Communities and Widows. Relaxation in upper age limit up to 43 years as on 01.01.2019 allowed for qualified Ministerial Staff under Higher Secondary Education Department. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in Tamil with not less than 50% marks awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala. • B.Ed Degree in Tamil acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed Degree in Tamil, B.Ed Degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed Degree as specified above, persons with B.Ed Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teachers conducted by Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the State Government. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.
General conditions from the notification
Part II of the KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile if a test is conducted. Disciplinary action will be initiated for bogus claims. AADHAAR card should be added as ID proof in the profile.
