Age limit

20-40. Only candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2001 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply. Usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. Relaxation in upper age limit up to 43 years as on 01.01.2021 for qualified Ministerial Staff under Higher Secondary Education Department. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. • B.Ed in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed in the concerned subject, B.Ed degree acquired in the concerned Faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed as specified above, persons with B.Ed in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or M.Sc Ed in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Regional Institute of Education sponsored by NCERT. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the State Government. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. M.Ed in the concerned subject is exempted from B.Ed qualification. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce relevant Government Order/Equivalency certificate at the time of certificate verification.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must register via One Time Registration. No application fee. Applications are provisional. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination if a test is conducted. Disciplinary action will be taken for bogus claims. Aadhaar card should be added as ID proof.
