Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher (Jr.) Statistics (Special Recruitment for SC/ST) in Kerala Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 248/2020. Vacancies: 02 (Two). Scale of Pay: ₹ 32300-68700/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from Scheduled Caste /Scheduled Tribes). Applications must be submitted online on or before 23-12-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

20-45. Only Candidates born between 01.01.1975 and 02.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible. In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit, the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Masters Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 45% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a Qualification recognised as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by any University in Kerala. • B.Ed in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognised as equivalent thereto by any University in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed. degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree as specified above, persons with B.Ed. Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognised as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by the Government of Kerala or by the Agency authorized by the State Government. Experience Required: Not specifically required, but teachers appointed under the provision of having only Masters degree + SET must acquire B.Ed. degree at their own expense within 5 years from the date of entry in service. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the relevant Govt. Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.

Probation of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile. Aadhar card should be added as ID Proof in the profile.
