Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Bachelors Degree with Mathematics or Statistics as Main Subject and B.Ed/B.T in the concerned subjects conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Post Graduates in Mathematics/Statistics with B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject will also be eligible to apply for the post. • Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education will also be treated as equivalent to Degree. • B.Sc Ed in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics stream conducted by the Regional Institute of Education, Mysore of NCERT are also eligible. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: Candidates should have service not less than 5 years as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant/Binder in the General Education Department as on the date of application, and should be an approved probationer/Full member of the Kerala General Education subordinate service. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a) ii of part II of KS&SSR is applicable for this post.

General conditions from the notification
Selection is made on revenue district basis. The rules regarding reservation of appointment under Rule 14 to 17 in Part II of KS&SSR are not applicable to recruitment by transfer. Candidates must submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their OTR profile if a test is conducted.
