Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Bachelors Degree with Mathematics or Statistics as Main Subject and B.Ed/B.T in the concerned subjects conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Post Graduates in Mathematics/Statistics with B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject will also be considered. • Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education will also be treated as equivalent to Degree. • B.Sc Ed in Physics – Chemistry – Mathematics stream conducted by the Regional Institute of Education Mysore of NCERT. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. • Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET. Experience Required: Service not less than 5 years as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant in the General Education Department as on the date of application. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable for this post. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government Orders.

General conditions from the notification
The applicant should be an approved probationer/Full member of the Kerala General Education Subordinate Service. Selection is on a revenue district basis. Rules regarding reservation (Rule 14 to 17 in Part II of KS&SSR) are not applicable to recruitment by transfer.
