Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Full Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) – LPS in Education. Category No: 622 - 625/2017. Vacancies: District wise (SC: TVM - 9, Alappuzha - 2, Thrissur - 2, Kasaragod - 10; ST: Kasaragod - 2; OX: Kozhikod - 1; Dheevara: Kozhikod - 1). Scale of Pay: 25200-54000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, OX, Dheevara communities only). In the absence of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community, candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community will be considered and vice versa.. Applications must be submitted online on or before 31-01-2018 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18–43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1974 and 01.01.1999 are eligible for OX, Dheevara communities. 18–45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1999 are eligible for SC, ST, and OX candidates who converted to Christianity from SC communities after attaining 18 years and children of such parents. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and II first Language. • A pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent; and any one of the following qualifications: 1) A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher), 2) A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower), 3) A Pass in Arabic Teachers Examination, 4) A pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala / Calicut Universities. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. (Exemptions apply for CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed) Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) (ii) of the KS & SSR will be applicable for this post.

General conditions from the notification
Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. Separate Ranked lists will be prepared for each district. Selection on revenue district basis. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again.
