Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Full Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) – LPS in Education. Category No: 765/2022 - 773/2022. Vacancies: District wise (NCA vacancies for Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, SIUC Nadar, Hindu Nadar, OBC, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Viswakarma, SCCC and Dheevara communities). Scale of Pay: ₹ 35600-75400/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from the above mentioned reservation group of communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 01-02-2023 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18 – 43 (Born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2004) for Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, SIUC Nadar, Hindu Nadar, OBC, Viswakarma, SCCC and Dheevara. 18 – 45 (Born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004) for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe. Upper age limit for adult members of SC and their children converted to Christian religion is 45 years (Born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. • A pass in Plus Two, Part III Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and Part II first Language. • A pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent; and any one of the following: A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher), A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower), A Pass in Arabic Teachers Examination, or A pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala / Calicut Universities. • BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognised by Universities in Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test-IV (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II KS & SSR will be applicable to this post. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government Orders during verification.

Candidates must follow Part II of the General Conditions. Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Confirmation for exam is mandatory for those who apply.
