Scale of Pay: ₹ 25200-54000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Hindu Nadar, Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, OBC, Viswakarma and LC/AI reservation communities only).. Age limit
18 – 43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible for Hindu Nadar, Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, OBC, Viswakarma and LC/AI candidates. 18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1974 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe candidates. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.

Educational Qualifications:
• A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.
• A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.
• A Pass in Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University.
• A pass in Plus Two, Part III Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala.
• A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and II first Language.
• A pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent; and any one of the following: 1) A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher), 2) A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower), 3) A Pass in Arabic Teachers Examination, 4) A pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala / Calicut Universities.
• BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognised by Universities in Kerala.
Technical Qualifications:
• Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala.
