Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • Pre-degree with Arabic as optional subject under Calicut University • Plus Two with Arabic as optional subject under Higher Secondary Board, Kerala • SSLC with Arabic as First Language (Part I & II) from Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala • SSLC or equivalent examination with Arabic as one of the languages • BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree recognized by Universities in Kerala Technical Qualifications: • Must possess any one of the following additional qualifications: Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination, Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination, Arabic Teachers Examination, or Arabic Entrance Examination conducted by Kerala/Calicut University • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post Experience Required: Must be a Full Member or Approved Probationer in the Kerala General Education Subordinate Service as of the date of application. Must have at least 5 years of service as Clerk, Typist, Attender, or Office Attendant in the General Education Department as of the date of application. Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency orders must be produced at the time of verification.

Reservation rules under KS&SSR Part II Rules 14-17 are not applicable for By Transfer appointments. Candidates must provide a service certificate from the Head of Department.
