Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of Calicut University. • Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course of Higher Secondary Board, Kerala. • SSLC Examination with Arabic as First Language (Part I and II) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • SSLC or equivalent examination and must have passed any of the following: Arabic Munshi (Higher) Exam, Arabic Munshi (Lower) Exam, Arabic Teachers Exam, or Arabic Entrance Exam conducted by Kerala/Calicut University. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala (Exemptions apply for candidates with CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed as per G.O.s). Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency orders for degrees like BA Arabic & Islamic History double main are applicable.
