Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of Calicut University • Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course of the Higher Secondary Board in Kerala • SSLC Examination with Arabic as First Language (Part I and II) of the Kerala Government Commissioner for Government Examinations • SSLC or equivalent examination of the Kerala Government Commissioner for Government Examinations Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala • Must have passed Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala • Must have passed Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala • Must have passed the Entrance Examination in Arabic conducted by the Kerala University or Calicut University • Must have passed Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test-IV (K-TET IV) for this post Experience Required: Must be a Full Member or Approved Probationer in the General Education Department as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant/Full Time Menial with not less than 5 years of service. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: BA Arabic & Islamic History Double Main degree is also accepted as per G.O.(Ms) No. 8/19/G.Edn dated 14.01.2019. KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must be a Full Member or Approved Probationer in the General Education Department. Reservation rules under KS&SSR Part II Rules 14-17 are not applicable for By Transfer appointments. Confirmation for exams is mandatory.
