Applications must be submitted online on or before 16-04-2015 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed SSLC or equivalent examination. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess valid current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving heavy goods vehicle or heavy passenger vehicle. Experience Required: None specified, but Home Guard Volunteers with 3 years tenure and fire fighting training have preference. Physical Standards: Height (without Footwear): 165 cms, Weight: 50 kgs, Chest: 81 cms, Chest Expansion: 5 cms. Vision: Distant 6/6 Snellen, Near 0.5 Snellen, Field of Vision: Full (without glasses). Must qualify in at least 5 out of 8 items in physical efficiency test. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must undergo 4 months training at State Fire Service Training School. Must execute a bond to serve for 5 years or pay Rs 2,700/-. Probation period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
