Vacancies: District wise (Community wise) Kollam - Muslim - 01 (One). Scale of Pay: 18000 - 41500/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Muslim community only). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Literacy in Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada Technical Qualifications: • Must possess Current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving Heavy Duty Vehicle and Motor Cycle • Must have three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil • Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement both for heavy Goods and heavy passenger Vehicles Experience Required: Three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil. Physical Standards: Ear: Hearing should be perfect. Eye: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen (both eyes), Near vision 0.5 Snellen (both eyes), Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil. Muscles and joints: No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must be Ex-servicemen/Disembodied Territorial Army personnel. Must be prepared to clean and oil the Motor Vehicles. Selected candidates must be able to drive Light Duty Vehicles also. Probation period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years.
