Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Gr.II (HDV) (Ex-servicemen only) in NCC/Sainik Welfare. Category No: 471/2019 - 476/2019. Vacancies: District wise (First NCA Notification for various communities). Scale of Pay: 18000 - 41500/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates of Ex-servicemen belonging to above reservation communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-02-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

1. 21-42. Candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.1998 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of Muslim, OBC, Viswakarma, SIUC-Nadar and LC/AI Communities. 2. 21-44. Candidates born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.1998 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of Scheduled Caste Community. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Literacy in Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess Current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving Heavy Duty Vehicle and Motor Cycle • Must have three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil • Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement both for heavy Goods and heavy passenger Vehicles Experience Required: Must have three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil. Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: Ear - Hearing should be perfect. Eye - Distant vision: 6/6 Snellen (Right & Left), Near vision: 0.5 snellen (Right & Left), Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil. Muscles and joints - No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous System - Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.

General conditions from the notification
The selection will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS) No.154/71/PD dated 27/05/1971. Every person appointed shall be on probation for a total period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years.
