Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Gr.II (HDV) (Ex-servicemen only) in NCC/Sainik Welfare. Category No: 091/2022. Vacancies: District wise (Scheduled Caste: Kannur - 01, Thiruvananthapuram - 01). Scale of Pay: ₹18000 - 41500/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates of Ex-servicemen belonging to above reservation community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 18-05-2022 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

21-44. Candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2001 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post (including relaxation as per para 2(i) of General Conditions). Upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Literacy in Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess Current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving Heavy Duty Vehicle and Motor Cycle. • Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement both for heavy Goods and heavy passenger Vehicles. Experience Required: Must have three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil. Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: Ear (Hearing perfect), Eye (Distant vision 6/6 Snellen for right and left eye, Near vision 0.5 snellen, Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil), Muscles and joints (No paralysis, free movement), Nervous System (Perfectly normal and free from infectious diseases). Each eye must have full field of vision. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Those who claim equivalent qualification shall produce the respective Government Order to prove the claim at the time of One Time Verification or as required by the Commission.

General conditions from the notification
The selection will be made on a revenue district basis subject to special conditions in G.O.(MS) No.154/71/PD dated 27/05/1971. Probation period is 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination if a Written/OMR/Online test is conducted.
