Category No: 528/2017. Vacancies: District wise (Community wise) - Kottayam - SC – 01 (one). Scale of Pay: 18,000 – 41,500/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to the above reservation community only).. Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-01-2018 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-44 Only candidates born between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (Including the relaxation as per Para 2 (i) of General Conditions). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in Standard VII/ III Forum. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess valid Heavy Passenger/Goods Driving Licence of three years standing with Badge. • Proficiency in Driving Heavy Goods/Passenger Motor Vehicles which is to be proved in a practical test conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission during the course of selection (Only those who have passed 'H' test will alone be permitted for Road Test). Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: (a) Ear - Hearing should be perfect. (b) Eye - Right Eye (Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen, Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil), Left Eye (Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen, Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil). (c) Muscles and joints - No paralysis, all joints with free movement. (d) Nervous System - Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Differently abled candidates are not eligible to apply. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable.

General conditions from the notification
The selection will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS)No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. Probation: Every person appointed to the post shall be on probation for a total period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years.
