Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Grade II (LDV) in Kerala Municipal Common Services/Various Development Authorities. Category No: 225/2016. Vacancies: 10 (Only). Scale of Pay: Rs.5250-8390 (PR). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-10-2016 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18 – 36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.1998 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Usual age relaxation for Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates applies. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Literacy in Malayalam, Tamil or Kannada Technical Qualifications: • Must possess a Light Motor Driving Licence of atleast three years standing with endorsement for driving Light Duty Vehicles. • Candidate shall possess a Current Driving Licence and badge throughout all the stages of selection process as on the last date of application, OMR test, practical test, Interview etc. Experience Required: Proficiency in Driving Light Duty vehicles (to be proved in a practical test) Physical Standards: Hearing should be full and perfect. Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen (Right & Left). Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen (Right & Left). Colour Vision: Normal. Night Blindness: Nil. Field of Vision: Must have full field of vision. No Paralysis and all joints with free movements. Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Not specified
General conditions from the notification
OMR Test will be conducted as the first stage. The list of selected candidates shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. Sub paras v, vii in para 2 and paras 5, 5a, 6 and 7 of the general conditions are not applicable to this post.
