Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must be able to read and write in any of the following languages: Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess current Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License and Badge of at least 3 years standing (should be valid at all stages of selection: last date for receipt of application, OMR test, practical test, interview etc.). • Proficiency in driving Light Duty Vehicles (to be proved through practical test). Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: (a) Hearing: Perfect hearing. (b) Eye Sight: Distant Vision - 6/6 Snellen for both eyes; Near Vision - 0.5 Snellen for both eyes; Colour Vision - Normal; Night Blindness - Nil; Field of Vision - Full. (c) Muscles and Joints - Free from paralysis and all joints with free movements. (d) Nervous System - Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable for equivalent qualifications.
