Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Grade II (LDV) / Driver - cum - Office Attendant (LDV) in Various. Category No: 19/2021. Vacancies: District-wise (Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur - Anticipated Vacancies; Palakkad - 05; Wayanad - 01; Kasaragod - 01). Scale of Pay: Rs. 18,000 – 41,500/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 21-04-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-39. Candidates should be born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) with usual relaxations for SC, ST, and Other Backward Classes. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in 7th Standard or equivalent or Third Form. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess current valid Driving Licence of 3 years standing (minimum) for Light Duty Vehicles with Driver's Badge. Experience Required: Must have proficiency in driving Light Motor Vehicles which is to be proved by a practical test including 'H' Test conducted by KPSC. Physical Standards: Must be physically fit. Hearing: Perfect hearing. Eye sight: Distant Vision - 6/6 Snellen (Right & Left), Near Vision - 0.5 Snellen (Right & Left), Colour Vision - Normal, Night blindness - Nil. Muscles and joints - Free from paralysis and free movements. Nervous system - Normal and free from infectious diseases. Differently abled persons are not eligible to apply. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable. Badge for driving Light Motor Vehicles has been exempted from 12.10.2018 onwards.
