Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Draftsman Grade II/ Town Planning Surveyor Grade II (Special Recruitment from SC/ST) in Town & Country Planning. Category No: 668/2021. Vacancies: SC/ST-01 (One). Scale of Pay: ₹ 31100-66800/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes). Applications must be submitted online on or before 02-02-2022 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-41. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible. In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit, the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in S.S.L.C. or its equivalent qualification Technical Qualifications: • Diploma in Civil Engineering (2 years course) of Women's Polytechnic • Group Certificate under K.G.T.E or M.G.T.E. (including all four groups: Building Drawing, Building Construction, Survey and Irrigation) • Pass in 8 subjects under K.G.T.E. / M.G.T.E.: (1) Surveying and Levelling (Higher), (2) Applied Mechanics (Higher), (3) Building Materials and Construction (Higher), (4) Hydraulics and Irrigation (Higher), (5) Building Drawing and Estimating (Higher), (6) Earthwork and Road making (Higher), (7) Geometrical Drawing (Lower), (8) Mensuration (Lower) • National Apprenticeship Certificate (Surveyor) • National Apprenticeship Certificate (Civil) • National Trade Certificate (Surveyor) • National Trade Certificate (Draftsman Civil) • VHSE Certificate in Building Technology (for Draftsman Grade II) • VHSE Certificate in Draftsmanship and Quantity surveying (for Town Planning Surveyor Grade II) Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce relevant Government Order at the time of verification.
