Age limit

19-30. Candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.1997 (both dates included) only are eligible. Relaxation of upper age limit for SC/ST and OBC as per rules. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Plus Two Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala or equivalent examination recognised by Government of India or Government of Kerala. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Male: Height minimum 168 cm (SC/ST 160 cm), Chest minimum 81 cm with 5 cm expansion. Female: Height minimum 157 cm (SC/ST 150 cm). Both must pass Physical Efficiency Test and Endurance Test (2 km run in 13 mins for males, 15 mins for females). Medical standards: Perfect hearing, specific vision standards without glass, no paralysis, no infectious diseases, no physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, etc. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of KS & SSR is applicable.

Candidates are prohibited from applying to more than one district. Separate ranked lists for each district will be published. Candidates must undergo one year training. Probation period is 2 years on duty within a continuous service of 3 years.
