Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Beat Forest Officer in Forest and Wildlife. Category No: 856/2025. Vacancies: 05 (Five) - District wise (Palakkad). Scale of Pay: ₹ 27900-63700/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Muslim community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 04-02-2026 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

19-33, Candidates born between 02.01.1992 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (Including the relaxation in Para 2(i) of the General conditions). Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Plus Two Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala or Equivalent examination recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala. Physical Standards: Male Candidates: Height-Minimum 168 cms, Chest-Minimum 81 cms with 5 cms expansion. Physical Efficiency Test (5 out of 8 National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard events) and Endurance Test (2 Km in 13 minutes). Female Candidates: Height-Minimum 157 cms. Physical Efficiency Test (5 out of 9 National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard events) and Endurance Test (2 Km in 15 minutes). Medical Standards: Perfect hearing, specific uncorrected visual standards (Distant vision 6/6 Snellen for both eyes without glasses, Near vision 0.5 Snellen, Normal colour vision, Nil night blindness), no paralysis/free movement of joints, and normal nervous system. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when called for.

Applications not in accordance with the terms and conditions are liable to be rejected. Disciplinary action as per rule 22 of the KPSC Rules of Procedure will be initiated for bogus claims.
