Who can apply
Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Beat Forest Officer in Forest. Category No: 01/2016. Scale of Pay: Rs.10480-18300/-. Method of Appointment: By Direct Recruitment (District wise). Applications must be submitted online on or before 09-03-2016 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
• Pass in Plus Two Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala or equivalent examination recognised by Government of India or Government of Kerala.
Physical Standards:
Male Candidates: Height-Minimum 168 cms (160 cms for SC/ST), Chest-Minimum 81 cms with 5 cms expansion (5 cm expansion applicable to SC/ST). Must qualify in 5 events out of 8 in National Physical Efficiency one star standard test and 2 Km run endurance test in 13 minutes. Female Candidates: Height-Minimum 157 cms (150 cms for SC/ST). Must qualify in 5 events out of 9 in National Physical Efficiency one star standard test and 2 Km run endurance test in 15 minutes.
Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules:
Rule 10(a)ii of KS & SSR is applicable.

General conditions from the notification⌄
Candidates shall undergo training for one year in any of the forest training schools. Probation period is 2 years on duty within a continuous service of 3 years.
