Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to the above mentioned reservation community). Age limit

18-47; Only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply (including relaxation as per para (2) (i) of the General Conditions). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Modern Medicine (MBBS) or equivalent qualifications Technical Qualifications: • Valid Registration with Travancore-Cochin Medical Council Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must see the General Conditions in Part II of the Gazette Notification. Appointees must serve for four years during the first ten years of service (including training) in defence service or services connected with defence, if required (exempted for those over 45 years of age). Differently abled candidates with Locomotor Disability/Cerebral palsy, Hearing impairment are eligible; those with Blindness/Low Vision are not eligible.
