Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Surgeon/Casualty Medical Officer in Health Services. Category No: 203/2022. Vacancies: Scheduled Tribe - 10 (Ten) vacancies. Scale of Pay: ₹ 63700 - 123700/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Only from Scheduled Tribe candidates. In the absence of suitable candidates from Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste candidates will be considered).. Applications must be submitted online on or before 20-07-2022 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Modern Medicine (MBBS) or equivalent qualification. Technical Qualifications: • Valid Registration with Travancore-Cochin Medical Council. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Only candidates with Locomotor disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing impairment are eligible. Candidates with Blindness/Low vision are not eligible. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.

Method of appointment

Direct Recruitment (Only from Scheduled Tribe candidates. In the absence of suitable candidates from Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste candidates will be considered).
General conditions from the notification
Candidates appointed shall undergo compulsory military service for 4 years within the first 10 years of service (including training period). This is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age and those who are differently abled. Candidates must provide confirmation for the exam through their profile.
