Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Marine Surveyor in Port (Hydrographic Survey Wing). Category No: 603/2023. Vacancies: SC-1 (One). Scale of Pay: ₹ 55,200 – 1,15,300/- (Revised). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste community of Kerala State only. In their absence, from ST candidates will also be considered.). Applications must be submitted online on or before 31-01-2024 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18–41, Only candidates born between 01.01.2005 and 02.01.1982 (both dates included) are eligible to apply (including age relaxation in Part II in para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in SSLC or its equivalent examination. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess Survey Recorder Class I or Class II qualification of the Indian Naval Hydrographic Branch. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable along with general provisions for equivalent/higher qualifications.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must acquaint themselves with the General Conditions in Part II of the Gazette Notification, including probation period (two years on duty within a continuous period of three years and passing Account Test for Executive Officers), and submit confirmation for writing examinations if tests are conducted.
