Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Marine Surveyor in Port (Hydrographic Survey Wing). Category No: 581/2025. Vacancies: SC - 1 (One). Scale of Pay: ₹ 55,200 – 1,15,300/- (Revised). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste community of Kerala State only. In their absence, from ST candidates will also be considered.). Applications must be submitted online on or before 14-01-2026 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18–41. Only candidates born between 01.01.2007 and 02.01.1984 (both dates included) are eligible to apply (including age relaxation in Part II in para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in SSLC or its equivalent examination. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess Survey Recorder Class I or II qualification of the Indian Naval Hydrographic Branch. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates are required to acquaint themselves with the general conditions given in Part II of the Gazette Notification. Applications not submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions are liable to be rejected. Probation period is two years on duty within a continuous period of three years, and must pass the Account Test for Executive Officers during probation.
