Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Modern Medicine or equivalent qualification (Equivalent qualification means those qualification recognised as equivalent by the Medical Council of India.) Technical Qualifications: • Valid Registration with the Travancore - Cochin Medical Council. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order/equivalency Certificate from the Institution.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must see the General Conditions in Part II of the Gazette Notification. Compulsory medical service of 4 years during the first ten years of service is required (exemptions apply for those over 45 and differently abled). Confirmation for exam is mandatory if written/OMR/online test is conducted.
