Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Insurance Medical Officer in Insurance Medical Services. Category No: 338/2024. Vacancies: Scheduled Tribe – 01 (One). Scale of Pay: 63,700 – 1,23,700/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment from among Scheduled Tribe community only. In the absence of qualified Scheduled Tribe candidates, application of Scheduled Caste candidates will also be considered.. Applications must be submitted online on or before 30-10-2024 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

21-46. Only candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (including age relaxation in para 2 (i) of the General Conditions). Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Modern Medicine or equivalent qualification (Equivalent qualification means those qualifications recognised as equivalent by the Medical Council of India.) Technical Qualifications: • Valid Registration with the Travancore - Cochin Medical Council. Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. In addition, qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for the post, in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission, shall be sufficient.

Method of appointment

Direct Recruitment from among Scheduled Tribe community only. In the absence of qualified Scheduled Tribe candidates, application of Scheduled Caste candidates will also be considered.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must acquaint themselves with Part II, General Conditions. Those appointed must serve for 4 years during the first ten years of their service (including period of training) anywhere in India or any Foreign country under Defence Service or services connected with Defence. Those who have completed 45 years of age are exempted from this compulsory medical service.
