Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Civil Excise Officer (Trainee) in Kerala Excise and Prohibition. Category No: 744/2024. Vacancies: Anticipated vacancies (District wise). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed the Plus Two Examination or its equivalent. Experience Required: Must be a member of the Last Grade Service in the Excise Department. Physical Standards: For male members: Minimum height 162 cms, minimum chest 81 cms with 5 cms expansion. For female members: Minimum height 152 cms. Must be free from physical defects like knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, deformed hands and limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Must possess specified visual standards without spectacles. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by Executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post and such of those qualifications which pre suppose the acquisition of the lower qualifications prescribed for the post shall also be sufficient.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must submit separate online applications for each category. Candidates included in both lists and advised from one list shall be deleted from the other as per Rule 18(iii). Disciplinary actions as per Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure 1976 for bogus claims. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their OTR profile.
