Who can apply
Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Civil Excise Officer (Trainee) in Kerala Excise and Prohibition. Category No: 743/2024. Vacancies: Anticipated vacancies (District-wise: Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasargod). Scale of Pay: ₹ 27,900 – 63,700/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (District wise). Applications must be submitted online on or before 29-01-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
• Must have passed the Plus Two Examination or its equivalent.
Experience Required:
None
Physical Standards:
Must not be less than 165 cms in height and 81 cms round the chest with a minimum expansion of 5 cms (For SC/ST candidates: minimum height 160 cms, minimum chest measurement 76 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms). Vision standards: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen (Right & Left Eye), Near Vision 0.5 Snellen (Right & Left Eye). Full field of vision, free from colour blindness, squint, or morbid conditions. Free from apparent physical defects like knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, deformed hands and limbs, irregular/protesting teeth, defective speech and hearing.
Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules:
Rule 10 (a) ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
