Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Police Constable (Trainee) (Armed Police Battalion) in Kerala Police. Category No: 740/2024. Vacancies: Anticipated vacancies in SAP, KAP III, KAP V, KAP I, KAP II, MSP, and KAP IV battalions.. Scale of Pay: ₹ 31,100-66,800/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Battalion wise). Applications must be submitted online on or before 29-01-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-26. Candidates born between 02.01.1998 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included). Relaxation up to 29 years for OBC, 31 years for SC/ST, and 41 years for Ex-servicemen. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in HSE (Plus Two) or its equivalent. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Height: Minimum 168 cm (160 cm for SC/ST). Chest: Minimum 81 cm with 5 cm expansion (76 cm with 5 cm expansion for SC/ST). Vision: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen, Near vision 0.5 Snellen for both eyes without glasses. Must be free from physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, etc. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR is applicable. Higher qualifications and those declared equivalent by government orders are accepted.

Candidates must follow Part II of KS&SSR. Women and differently-abled candidates are not eligible. Candidates are prohibited from applying to more than one battalion. Separate ranked lists will be published for each battalion.
